Society of Cosmetic Scientists (SCS) hosted its South West #FutureSoc event yesterday and our Account Head of R&D, Roger Rowson, alongside former SCS President and Brand Founder, Sam Farmer, headed to Bristol to talk about their paths into cosmetic science and their professional journeys since.

These opportunities to network and hear insights from others working in the world of beauty can be really valuable for helping to inspire a future generation of scientists. We hope the students, post-grads and other colleagues already established in the industry enjoyed it and thanks to SCS for organising.

If SCS is new to you, it’s open to all whether you’re new to the industry or a seasoned pro. The main objective of the Society is to advance the science of cosmetics with its publications and educational programmes and by attracting membership among highly qualified individuals who have got both academic and industrial experience in the field of cosmetics or related sciences.
