Last week we welcomed Area Fundraiser Heidi Roberts to LABS so she could talk to our team about the difference Children’s Hospice South West makes with its vital care and services.  Heidi was joined by Laura Hobbs-Wall, whose family use the facilities and was able to share with us the impact this very special charity has had on the lives of those she loves and so many others in need locally. 

Having supported the Children’s Hospice South West as our chosen cause for Q4 last year, it was a brilliant opportunity to hear how our contributions will translate into tangible benefits for the people the charity helps. The £18,254 we raised could help make a difference in the following ways:

• £10,000 - Could help fund a specialist, accessible bath for children with complex physical disabilities at one of the  hospices and ease muscular pain.
• £8300 - Could fund medical consumables for one  of the CHSW hospices  for a year which would make a big difference to the children in our care.

OR

• It could help fund 260 hours of care.
